My latest body of work, which I call the Etherea series, are atmospheric abstractions of meditation and memory. They are meant as resting places, transcendental escapes from our hectic, complex world. They are entry points to the rhythms and the quiet mysteries of our lives and our search for the deeper connection we long for in our human experience. These serene, minimal paintings, with their subtle complexity, are layered translucently in search of radiance, nuance and depth. They evolve through a process of improvisation, experimentation, revision and intuition.

We shall not cease from exploration

And the end of all our exploring

Will be to arrive where we started

And know the place for the first time.
